I’m currently focused on leading UX work at IKEA, but I’m always open to meaningful conversations, especially if they align with my values around impact, autonomy, and growth.
Do you take on freelance or consulting work?
Occasionally, yes. It depends on the project. In some cases, I collaborate with other designers I trust and lead the process from end to end — especially when the challenge is complex and cross-disciplinary.
Are you leading a team in your current role?
Yes. I’m currently managing a team of 6 designers at IKEA across different seniority levels. I’ve been in a people leadership role for nearly 6 years, focusing on both design craft and team development.
Do you give talks or run workshops?
I do, and I love it. I’m especially passionate about supporting the design community in Cairo — hosting workshops, career prep, and talks that help designers grow into market-ready talent. I try to make time for this whenever I can.
